March 13, 2017

After months of silence we must bring you this unfortunate news: sadly our drummer Marco “Samu” Bolognini has decided to dedicate himself fully to other projects and therefore quit the band. We are nonetheless determined to complete and record all the new music we have written in these last years, which is our number 1 priority at this moment. This means we are looking for a new drummer to join us in Nero di Marte. If you know somebody or if you are interested yourself, please share, send us a message on facebook or write us an email at

“Dite” now streaming on Bloody Disgusting

BLOODY DISGUSTING are debuting “Dite“, the 3rd track to come out from our new album ‘Derivae’. Here’s what BD contributor Jonathan Barkan had to say about the track:

“I’m really thrilled to bring you this premiere as I’m digging the hell out of Italian atmospheric metal band Nero Di Marte. Their ability to craft an oppressive, eerie mood is, in my opinion, heightened and not harmed by the inclusion of rage-fueled metal. “Dite” is a song that I can imagine being the soundtrack to the approach of Lovecraft-ian gods as they emerge from the sea and descend from the heavens.”

New album “Derivae” out Fall 2014

08 Aug
August 8, 2014

SAMSUNG CSCBologna, Italy-based atmospheric metal quartet NERO DI MARTE will release “Derivae,” the highly anticipated follow-up to their self-titled debut, this fall. The album’s title, taken from the Italian phrase “andare alla Deriva” (“to go adrift”), correlates with its lyrical themes, which vocalist Sean Worrell describes as “tragically searching for something that maybe isn’t there…letting yourself go and becoming swayed by the unknown.”

Three years in the making, “Derivae” was recorded, mixed and mastered with Riccardo “Paso” Pasini at Studio73 (Ephel Duath, The Secret, Void of Sleep) in May/June 2014 . Keep an eye out for further details in the coming weeks.
